Mōrena's Story
Hello! My name is Mōrena. I am 31 years old, living in Taranaki NZ. I was diagnosed with stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis at the end of 2021. Initially, I didn’t know much about Endometriosis until I realised that it could be the cause of my many issues.
I was suffering with severe lower back, hip and leg pain for 3 years without a definitive answer. It was so bad that I almost ended up having spinal surgery for it!
During that time my husband and I were also struggling to fall pregnant. We had begun our journey with fertility associates and were looking for a possible cause for our infertility.
